At TPSR, we aim to make a lasting impact in the Pocket Pet, Avian & Aquatic Communities and beyond. Our initiatives and activities are designed to provide care, assistance, education and a thriving safe haven for those in need. But above all, passion is at the heart and soul of everything that we do.

Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work in 2015, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Tiny Pawz Sanctuary Rescue to the Public. We are very big on the Vegan Lifestyle and strive in creating endless pawzabilities for less fortunate critters.

Since our founding in 2015, Tiny Pawz Sanctuary Rescue has developed and grown exponentially. We’re very proud of the expertise of our staff (both Big & Little) and their abilities to contribute their own unique experience and skills to our success.
Tabitha (Emerald) Russell
Founder/Executive Director
Tabitha has over 15 years experience with animals of a wide variety, All applications go through her, in her eyes no critter should ever left behind, be subjected to animal exploitation, experimentation, cruelty or abuse. Mrs. Russell is a SAHM of 8, running a small beauty business and spends her days and nights ensuring the best quality of care is provided to the critters in TPSR’s care. Over the years some have called her the crazy critter lady…Her heart is where it belongs.

These Dynamic Sisters’ Dreams are HUGE! Mae wants to be an Exotic Veterinarian, Kae wants to become a Licensed Rescuer, while Jae feels being a Sanctuary Caregiver is her true passion. All of which encourages their baby sister Lae to love Critters just as much as them. They are blessed to be homeschooled so it gives them more hands on time with the Sanctuary Critters as well as Volunteering for Our Community. Mae & Kae assist with Surrender & Rescue Intakes, Daily Critter Care, Veterinary Appointments, Grooming and the girls’ favorite part of it all the socialization and rehabilitation of all the critters whom come needing a little extra help, affection and compassion. Jae & Lae currently teams up with everyone as they are currently too young to have an active role and need supervision, education & guidance.

Our favorite breed is Rescued
We work alongside multiple licensed rescuers within the state of Missouri, as well as individuals needing to surrender their beloved pet(s). This is one of our key areas of focus here at Tiny Pawz Sanctuary Rescue, and a source of much success for our Critter Sanctuary Rescue Team and Our Affiliates.

Our Staff strive to make a difference within our local community and those surrounding. We offer many Critter Care Services, Free Educational Courses both online and in-person, Host Local Community Events and more.

Our Children, Our Future
Give them the proper tools & knowledge
It is so easy to fall into a pattern of apathy as we go through our lives. Our organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real issues of animal cruelty, exploitation, abuse, owner negligence, improper education, and deal with them head on. We have set out to aid those who need it most. Tiny Pawz Sanctuary Rescue is here to help, and we believe that change is possible when we put our hearts and minds to it. We have several opportunities for Our Youth and hope that one day, They will make the World a better place for ALL Living Beings!
