How much of my donation directly supports the Critters?

Examples of where Your Donations & Gifts will go: Feed & Hay, Enrichment Supplies, Treats & Supplements, Blankets & Bedding, Emergency Enclosures, Daily Vegetable Expenses, Regular & Urgent Veterinary Care, Transportation Funding, Sanctuary & Rescue Necessities, Critter Approved Furnishings and more
*ALL proceeds from Donations & Gifts go directly to the Sanctuary Critters or those on the waiting list as we can accommodate them into the Sanctuary.

Does the Critter have to be Spayed/Neutered to be accepted into TPSR’s Program? 

No they do not, it is preferred but We can accommodate Neutering as well as getting UTD on Vaccinations. 

What is the minimum age to volunteer?

At TPSR there are no age requirements to Volunteer, We accept help from Anyone who’s heart is behind our mission. We find providing young children with a safe, supervised, educational hands on experience with the critters is beneficial to both the little people and Critters well being. 
To become a Transporter you MUST have a Legal Driver’s License, Auto Insurance and a Licensed Vehicle. 
Fostering & Adopting is encouraged to get the whole family together and on the same page, however the sole responsibility falls only on the Adult(s), We do not and will not hold anyone under the age of 16 responsible of another living being’s life. 

Is the Sanctuary are Licensed Rescue? 

Yes however We do not require a license to operate as such. TPSR was granted Immunity and Exemption by both The Missouri Department of Agriculture and United States Department of Agriculture to facilitate a Critter Sanctuary & Rescue Organization excluding cats, dogs and/or livestock. 

Where is TPSR located? 

TPSR‘s Main Office & the Sanctuary is located in Cape Girardeau County, Our Fostering Program and Rescue Team are based throughout the State of Missouri. 

What Critter Species do You take in? 

We offer a Permanent Placement for Guinea Pigs, Fancy Rats, Rabbits, Avian, Aquatics, Some Amphibians, Reptiles and Arachnids.
